Knowledge Discovery

  1. Supports HR scholars to conduct research studies in HRM and related fields that said to have significant managerial and social impacts;
  2. Collaborates with other institutes/centres and professional bodies, both local and overseas, to conduct research and develop programmes to enhance HRM standards;
  3. Organises research conferences and symposiums as common platforms allowing HR scholars, researchers and practitioners to exchange views on advancement of HR knowledge and on how theories and practices can be integrated;
  4. Publishes research reports, case studies, and executive articles relevant to HRM practices and employment policies;

Knowledge Sharing
  1. Organises seminars, forums and social gatherings that help disseminate state-of-the-art HRM practices to corporate leaders and HR professionals;
  2. Holds public events to facilitate the sharing of best management practices among government officials, corporate leaders, academicians, and management professionals;
  3. Conducts annual pay level surveys in Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Mainland China;

 

Knowledge Transfer

  1. Delivers educational or training programmes in response to the need of upgrading the competency and skills of HR professionals;

  2. Provides business and management consulting services to organisations in order to enhance their operational effectiveness and performance;

  3. Conducts employment related surveys and research for business organisations and NGOs;
